Been Awhile

I know its been awhile since I have posted. things have gotten crazy with the holidays!! I cannot believe it is New Years Eve. Nathan is at working doing the end of the year inventory, then going to the Liquor store for some champagne then off to his parents to see Miss Abbie before she leaves tomorrow to go back to Ohio.

my glasses broke on Tuesday. I normally wear contacts, but i am out of contacts and funds are always tight in December, so i had to forgo getting new glasses or contacts, and I settled by having them put my lens in another frame for now. Which works, but not perfect. They are not a perfect fit, there are gaps, but it works for now, till i can get my contacts, then send my lens off to get fitted for the frames i bought. So the frames i got were off the Youth rack @ Walmart's Vison Center. I was lucky they even had something that would work. She told me the frames were $52, I was like "OUCH", LOL, So i called Nate and asked him what he thought, and he said get them, you need them. So i did, she rang them up and I got them for get this.....$9.00, No im not kidding they were $9.00, I was so happy!!!!

Christmas was Awesome!!!! We had an awesome set up!!!! The kids had a blast opening up presents. Emma came in our room @ 7:15am and gave us presents to open, i told her to put them back under the tree and we would be out in a few minutes.

Here is the Tree with all the presents underneath. Then we had 2 toddler beds that we put together and then the 2 keyboards to set out.

Here is the set up, Minus the little ones in there beds. Nate did move Jenessa and Andrew into their new beds before we went to bed. We never made it to bed till 3am-ish, lol and we woke up @ 7:15am...

Abbie, Nate's oldest daughter came down with her Aunt Kathy for a visit. We were so happy to have her with us for a few days. We had a Semi family photo done, Minus Jenessa, because she was still with her mom when we took the photo. We were gonna do another one today because Jenessa was here, but then I reminded Nate that Drew was at his dad's so it would be another semi family photo, So we decided to forgo another semi family picture. But we all had a great time. Abbie had a blast with the kids...And i was so happy to finally meet Abbie. I have never met her until Monday night.

And on another good note, my IUD is officially out, and we can finally complete our family!!! Yes, i took a picture of my IUD in the Sharps bucket, but I am not posting it on this blog...LOL...

I doubt I will be on here again before the New Year. Everyone have a Happy New Year!!!!

Christmas

Well the presents are all almost wrapped. We have 2 more presents to wrap, but we need to find boxes big enough to fit them, and then 2 more presents to set up on Christmas Eve night for the little ones. Really need to pick up up 3-4 more things, but Nathan isn't letting me. Even tho we really need them for the kids. Oh well. I cannot wait to see the looks of the little ones faces when they wake up Christmas morning in their new beds, in front of the tree. And then all of their faces when they open their presents on Christmas morning. We finished shopping yesterday.

We will be getting Jenessa on Thursday for the weekend. Drew will be seeing his dad on Christmas eve for a few hours, then going to see his dad for a few hours on Christmas Day, due to his dad's work schedule. Thankfully I have Christmas off. Nathan does not, with him working at a truck stop he never gets holidays off.

More to come later...

Must Read for Parents...

This is a must read blog for all Parents. You need to have a sense of humor while reading this blog! He is hilarious.

Asshole Baby: Hello: I used to be cool.  I was a 26 year old guy enjoying life and the party scene. Then life happened.  On July 25, 2011, I accidentally procr...

I really want to know if the guy's wife/girlfriend knows about this blog, and what is her take on him writing it. I can relate to almost everything he writes to a certain extent. But i can say that in the 3 years of my son's life he has never peed or pooped on me ever! I know a lot of people that said "Oh, just wait till the 1st time he pees or poops on you" and I figured as a mom it was bound to happen, but so far it has never happened. Now, ask his father, and I think you might get a different story. I honestly don't remember. Who knows, now that Nate and I are planning a baby, this one might break my record, lol. I guess we shall just see what happens.

Stupid School

So my kids school is closing, and their father and I couldn't be happier. I really dislike this school, and dislike is a nice word to use, not the word I really want to use. The are going to Dodgertown Elementary currently. Now I had always heard that this was a great school, Grade A, i believe. Well Grade A or not, I do not like it. I am happy the school is closing, but for stupid reasons.
According to the School Board, it is perfectly OK, to kick our students and faculty out of our school and let Osceola Magnet School move on in, because "Oh Boo Hoo, their school floods during heavy rain" Big Whoop-die Doo! It really outrages me that they are actually going to let this happen. Essentially I should be happy because not only 1 of my kids will be moving schools, but all 3 of my school aged kids will be going to different schools, But its the principal of the matter, that they are just letting them over take the school.
According to the School Board it will cost over $20 million dollars to build a new school for Osceola Magnet at 1 of the 2 proposed locations, But it will only cost half of that to essentially kick our kids/faculty out, and rezone them to new school will only cost about $10 million dollars.
So the 2 of my 3 school aged will be rezoned, to from what i have heard, Glendale Elementary (where they want to be) Citrus Elementary, Highlands Elementary, J.A. Thompson Elementary, and I think Vero Beach Elementary. My 5th grader will be going to middle school next year, OMG, She is getting so big, She is protesting going to the middle school we are zoned for, because they have uniforms, But actually I just checked their site, and there is not uniforms, so hopefully there wont be anymore talk of Homeschooling for her, lol.
We were told that the final decision was made on December 13th, 2011. And of course we all knew it was the closure of Dodgertown, but exactly when is to be decided. Parents were under the impression, that the kids would finish out the school year and then Dodgertown would close over the summer; Well my kids come home, and they said that their teachers told them that the school would not close till December 13th of 2012!!! Are you kidding me!!! You are going to let them finish out the 2011 year, then expect them to go back for 4-5 months of school of the 2012 school year, and then transfer them all to new schools!!! OK, who is the retarded one now...I just don't see how that is a good idea at all. So send them back to a school for a few months, then pulled them out, and send them to all new schools, is just crazy, but whatever, you think you know what is best for our kids; But a lot of parents in the county are starting to think otherwise.
